The sprinkler irrigation construction project for the Northeast Gate Lawn of Peking University is a cooperative construction project with Beijing Green Jinghua Ecological Garden Co., Ltd. The area is 20,000 square meters. The project content is to transform the original green space rapid water valve irrigation mode into a remote automated sprinkler irrigation mode.

Reason for transformation:

1. The original green space is irrigated by water valves, and it is necessary to manually connect the water valves and pull pipes for watering every time.

2. The original irrigation model has great limitations and obvious shortcomings. The water consumption is large, the manual working hours are long, and the work is highly random.

3. Uneven watering and extensive watering methods.

4. There are many tourists and students during the day, and watering with water pipes affects the appearance, affects tourists and students' sightseeing, and poses safety risks.

Renovation plan:

Upgraded to Tianzheng Hi-tech wireless automatic irrigation system, adding irrigation controller + solenoid valve, wireless gateway, underground pipes, underground sprinklers, connected to Tianzheng Hi-tech intelligent control system, realizing automatic irrigation control of the Northeast Gate lawn.

Program features:

1. The valve can be remotely controlled through mobile APP & tablet & desktop computer, which greatly improves the efficiency of irrigation work and can control the operating status of terminal equipment in real time.

2. By installing a wireless soil moisture sensor and a wireless soil pH sensor, the soil condition can be sensed in real time.

3. By installing a small weather station in the park, the regional evaporation in the park can be calculated to provide more basis for the actual water demand for irrigation.

4. Automatic rotation irrigation can be set up in the background, and automatic watering at night will not affect tourists and students during the day.

5. Equipment abnormality alarm can quickly locate the fault location and provide guarantee for the normal operation of the system.

6. Centralized statistics of big data in the background provide data support for precise lawn maintenance in the later stage.

After the transformation is completed:

After a period of operation statistics, the irrigation efficiency has been significantly improved, water consumption has been saved by more than 30%, labor costs have been reduced by more than 35%, and the green lawn has grown lushly, fully meeting the project transformation requirements, and has been unanimously recognized by Beijing Green Capital Company and Peking University Engineering.
